Monstrous request to fonts.googleapis.com

Hey, Using Charles Prox, I see that Spicebox Pro sends a monstrous Request to fonts.googleapis.com. Yes, I have sutom typography enabled, but why does the theme make this request on every page load?

The request URL alone is 10.1 KiB. That is about 7 IP Packets just for the request, and as you know, uplinks are usually much slower than downlinks. Is it possible to avoid this request to speed up performance (and not hammer on Google's servers)?

I am attaching the called URL as a txt file, since not even this form allows hrefs of such size.
