Boxed layout doesn't work

Hi,

I've purchased the SpicePress Pro and the boxed layout doesn't seem to work.
And also, I would like to know how to adjust the slider settings to fit a 1440px wide image.

Thanks,

Priscila

    Hi mrssammartino

    Thanks for catching this. This is a small issue in our theme we are going to fix this in the next release with a new version.

    You can correct this using the below css code so kindly add the below css code in Additional css box.

    @media(min-width: 1200px) {
    body.boxed {
        width: 1210px;
        -webkit-box-shadow: 0 0 10px 0 rgba(48, 48, 48, 0.5);
        box-shadow: 0 0 10px 0 rgba(48, 48, 48, 0.5);
        margin: 30px auto;
    position: relative;
    }
    }
    @media (min-width: 768px) and (max-width: 979px)  {
    body.boxed { width: 100%; }
    }
    @media (max-width: 767px) {
    body.boxed { width: 100%; /* padding: 0px 20px !important; */ }
    body { padding-left: 0px !important; padding-right: 0px !important; }
    }
    @media (min-width: 980px) and (max-width: 1199px) {
    body.boxed { width: 100%; }
    }

    Let me know did it work.

    Thanks

    Hi prajapati,

    Aside from the fact that my 1440px wide image looks horrible, when I resize the browser window the image in the slider is cropped, and not resized.

    How can I fix it?

    Thanks

    ps.: the boxed layout is working now.. but I would like it to be with no shadow and margin-top=0.

  • This is the image in the slider, it doesn't make sense for the resolution to be so bad...

  • Hi mrssammartino

    Kindly use the large size of slider image like 2500*1000 (width/height).

    If you already use a large size  image and its not display correct size then kindly select the Full size when you upload the image in wordpress media.

    Take a look in screenshot http://prntscr.com/mzf9tb

    And for the box layout top padding and bottom padding make the 0px in place of 30px in Additional css box.

    Like the screenshot http://prntscr.com/n7x4qe

    Let me know did it work.

    Thanks
  • Hi prajapati,

    Top padding modification works fine :)

    Since I'm using boxed and responsive layout, it doesn't make sense (to me, at least) to use a 2500px image, so I'd like for it to be the max size of the "box".

    Also, when in mobile, the silder image is cropped, not proportionally resized. Since my images contain text, you can see the problem created buy this bug.

    Thanks!

    Hi mrssammartino

    Kindly select the full size of the image in WordPress media like you are using 1440px for the box layout.

    Like the screenshot http://prntscr.com/mzf9tb you can select the original size (1440px) in the WordPress media.

    And kindly create the separate ticket for another responsive slider image issue in mobile. Because multiple issues in a single thread create complexity to handle better support query

    Let me know did it work.

    Thanks
  • Hi prajapati,

    I didn't get the full size selection at the first time, my bad :/
    The image looks fine (although cropped) now.

    I'll open another ticket for the slider resizing proportionally then.

    Thanks!
