Resizing a Google search on a web page

Hello !

I would like to insert a google search field to search informations into my website.
please see the result here :

To obtain this, Google gave me an html short code :

<script async src="https://cse.google.com/cse.js?cx=008364195816778699346:0kbv6hp2nzc"></script>
<div class="gcse-search"></div>

I would like to resize the witdh of the search field because it is too large to fit the web page.

How can i do that, please ?

Thank you !
Regards

Stephane from France

  • Hi @stefano66,

    Thanks for contacting us!

    To do this, Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Additional CSS and add the given below custom CSS code:

    table.gsc-search-box {
            table-layout: auto!important;
    }

    I hope it will work for you.

    Thanks
